West Ham make Final fan zone decision

West Ham have ruled out all ideas of a fan zone being set up to screen the Euro Conference Final on June 7,

Various ideas had been put forward to use areas in or around the London Stadium but that has proved impossible with the owners.

And another idea was put forward on the Claret and Hugh forum that the club should ask Dagenham & Redbridge if they could set a fan zone up at their ground with acceptable remuneration.

However, the club has now decided that they will not be making any moves to set up a zone given the Final is being broadcast on BT Sport and available to everybody anyway.

As a result the Hammers have decided there is really no need to set up a zone for fans and a Claret and Hugh source said: We think supporters will be watching the game watch on TV or at the pubs.

  1. This is one of those instances that seem to confirm that we aren’t thought of very highly. Can they not see that “watching it on TV or in the pubs” is no substitute for being in a crowd, and being able to celebrate all together?
