West Ham have made their first signing of the summer by signing 16-year-old attacking midfielder Sebastián Nebyla who joins from Slovakian Super Liga champions Spartaka Trnava.
“I signed a contract for two years. I have not seen anything like this yet. Everything was perfectly organized, at a high level, “Nebyla said shortly after signing his West Ham contract.
Many other clubs were interested in his services, but he decided to sign for the Hammers saying: “I decided on the basis of recommendations from my agent Emil Kovarovich. I have been given conditions in which I can train and grow my football. I’m only sixteen years old, but I can play with the U23’s, which is played by players who have their start in the A-team of West Ham. On Monday, former West Ham representatives of Paul Konchesky and Matthew Upson trained me. I’m at West Hame until May 5th and then I’m going to the Bermuda tournament. I move to England on July 1st Nebyla confirmed.
“The West Ham Academy has excellent conditions, both facilities and financial. In July we go with the U23 squad to travel to Košice, Slovakia where 25 players and 15 other people from the training staff are going. In training, they focus on speed, deployment and aggressiveness. There is less time for everything. I believe the contract I signed will be a transitional contract towards the West Ham A team” Nebyla added.
