West Ham/Man City fans chant goes viral

A football chant sung by both West Ham and Manchester City fans at the London Stadium on Saturday has gone viral with over 2.1 million views.

The video clip filmed by 6foot2 news editor and Claret and Hugh contributor  Sean Whetstone shows Hammers fans singing and serenading Man City away fans “We know what we are we know what we are Champions of Europe We know what we are.”

In return City fans sing the song back to West Ham home fans to a round of applause from all present.

The fan banter was of course very much tongue in cheek but also great to hear with two British European title winners playing each other for bragging rights on Saturday afternoon.

However, it’s a long way from where the Irons have been in recent years and but rival fans seem to have taken it seriously with thousands of comments on social media about the video.
