West Ham new signing is sixth time lucky

|

agentWest Ham latest signing Sead Haksabanovic previously had trials at Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa but previously failed to impress and returned disappointed to his Swedish club Halmstads.

While on a one week trial with Manchester United in 2015 he admitted he was a Liverpool fan saying “I am a Liverpool fan, but United are a great club and has always been a nice club.”

West Ham have obviously seen something that the other teams did not see to gamble £3m on this transfer, either that or they see potential which is worth the modest investment.

Despite a lack of a trial you can guarantee that Tony Henry and his scouting network have fully researched the new signing who has made 70 first-team appearances for Halmstads despite his tender age of just eighteen.

Terry Westley probably added his opinion and he is likely to thrown straight into the Premier League 2 Under 23 squad to show what he can do. West Ham United  U23’s face Everton at 7pm this Friday at Dagenham & Redbridge FC for their first game of the season in Division one of PL2.

Why not chuck him in at billericay tonight and get used to playing with sakho 🎣😉

A few of us are going to the Billericay match to see The Ricays, should be a laugh. The Billericay manager/owner will get plenty of stick too I expect. Should be a laugh and some good bars in the High Street too for afters.

Let’s hope he is good enough to compete for a first team place, for all those teams to invite him to trial with them they must have seen a lot of potential presuming they scouted him, the question is why didn’t he make it through the trials ? From the youtube footage looks like the kid has good balance and a decent turn of pace over a short distance anyway.

Yeah the report above don’t make great reading but who cares eh? If Liverpool or Manure had wanted him we wouldn’t have got a sniff. Let’s hope their loss is our gain.

Yep, if you watch the ballers video of him where they interview him and his team mates etc it seems to suggest he is a humble hard working kid, I hope so it is always pretty exciting to see young players in the team, that’s what we have been brought up on, Tottenham and Southampton have showed that they can flourish in the Premier League if they are given the chances.

Good luck to him, hope it goes well but more concerned about more need in the first team at CB, creative midfielder and up front. If Coutinho does go to Barca and the Manx wannabees throw silly money at the club for Lanzini I hope the stand fast and do not deal, no good having the money with no one to spend it on to replace a lynchpin of the team.

I think he’s a positive signing – he’s young and talented but a little raw still, which most probably put off the big boys…they generally want someone first team ready. With a bit of support and close development he could be knocking for a place on the bench in the second half of the season.

I wouldn’t worry too much about him not making it a trials at the other clubs.he was only 15 or 16,since then he has had some first team experience in Sweden & got in to the Montenegro squad. No mugs Montenegro they have some good players 😃
