West Ham: “No offer to manager”

waving sam_allardyce_1528056cSam Allardyce has received no new contract offer offers or been encouraged to believe one is on the way from ย West Ham United.
Club insiders are shrugging off a Daily Telegraph report which claims the manager the club made an approach to their manager recently with a new two year deal potentially on offer which was was declined.”
But according to our best insider that, element of the the story is simply not true and the report has been immediately shrugged off.
We were told firmly: “No offer has ever been made and therefore none has been turned down. AS EVER, the situation will be reviewed in the summer.”
ClaretandHugh’s analyst and pundit Leroy Rosenior writes: The only conclusion you can draw from all of this is that West Ham and Sam Allardyce will not be together next season.
Talks about a new deal don’t happen inside a couple of days, weeks or even months. Had the Hammers wanted to keep him, talks would have started around Christmas particularly as the team HAD been doing so well.
It seems to me the club may be trying to keep him on ice in case they don’t find anyone to fill the job but Sam will know by now what’s going on and I simply can’t see him accepting that. We all have our pride.
He won’t be short of a club because he’s seen as someone who keeps teams in the Premier League. He may well be preparing his next move.
“I’ve felt for sometime it’s all over between both sides and this latest situation only reinforces that.”

  1. ahah.. Sam has not pride, he just has a big stubborn Ego, it’s different… lol Anyway in my opinion the owners shouldn’t keep him on ice… he must not to be plan B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,Z,Y,X or W…lol
He just has to go as far as possibile… thanks.

  2. I’m assuming that’s the same ice Sam keeps his creativity on.

  3. Maybe this is exactly why there is no point in having big debates about something we basically no notjing about. The truth is out there somewhere but we as fans will be the last to know. But i guess if some people have all day to debate fanciful reports, sources & newspaper articles good luck to them ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Agreed Rads. I’ve given up speculating. Not long to wait now.

  5. Yep,very true Rads,no matter how many sources & whispers come out from somewhere we will never know what really happens or happened for years if ever i guess. But if the hippo is going im kinda excited to see what the new era brings.Cant be more gloomy than the past couple of seasons, apart from our little journey into playing football how it should be played for a couple of months until Sams bad bout of amnesia cured itself & he remembered how he normally got teams to play.Ooops,i am being critical of Sam,sorry, what a rabid dog i am ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. So he is gone, now the anticipation is who is going to be brought in…

  7. Yes Nav,i hope so.Im quite excited to see what happens this summer.Contrary to popular belief i have never bad mouthed another manager until this fool came along. Not Roeder,Grant, anyone, but this guys beliefs in how football should be played brings me to the point of sleeping in the ground sometimes, lol, things can only get better im sure ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Agreed. His philosophy, I felt, was all wrong but it wasn’t obviously my or your choice to make. I am grateful for what he has done (the promotion) but this did come at a price. The youth have been put to the side and the football we all crave (some call it modern but our Boys played it in the sixties) was replaced. I didn’t think he should have been re-signed two seasons ago but again not my decision. Anyways, here is to hopefully better days. COYIs!!!

  8. Can’t wait now for a name,
Don’t care who just looking forward to a new season,
With a bit of luck if we qualify for Europe it might bring in a bigger fish
    Now for a celebration drink
    Cheers all
    Adios BFS

  9. Just heard a radio interview given by Martin Allen saying what a fantastic job Sam has done this season and at WH in general. I am sick and tired of ex players and managers continuing to say this Have any of them seen any of our games since Christmas? These are experts?

  10. Lol,managers,ex-managers,pundits,experts,they all kiss each other big fat behinds. They are worse than the Masons. It is one mass love in.Allen is obviously looking for a coaching job at Hippos next club.I say this only as a rabid dog though,so my judgement may be clouded ๐Ÿ˜€

  11. Im past caring how it happens,if he turns us down it is fine.Wont be that way round though.Just want to see him walk off into the sunset so we can start a new era.Cant be worse than the last two years bar our glorious autumn of 2014.Time Sams type of football was consigned to history.Thank god that there are few other managers who play the turgid sh*t he calls football.Narrows down the chances of getting a Hippo clone again ๐Ÿ˜‰
