West Ham United‘s transfer rumour activity shows no signs of slowing down with reported interest in Hoffenheim attacker Jacob Bruun Larsen, according to Kicker.
West Ham faces competition from Crystal Palace and Fulham for Bruun Larsen’s signature. The 24-year-old impressed on loan at Burnley last season, showcasing his versatility across the front three.
The Hammers have already been busy this transfer window, making three signings to bolster various positions. The high-profile arrival of Max Kilman from Wolves for £40 million has solidified their defence.
The additions of Luis Guilherme and potentially Jacob Bruun Larsen demonstrate West Ham’s focus on strengthening their attack to support the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus. There have been so many wide players linked with West Ham that it confirms what C&H were told by a club source early in the window . . . a left winger is wanted by the club.
Bruun Larsen’s successful loan spell at Burnley, where he scored six Premier League goals, makes him a valuable option. His arrival at the London Stadium would provide the Irons with additional depth and competition in the final third.
That being said, last time West Ham signed a winger who’d performed well for Burnley the previous season it didn’t work out too well. One would imagine the club would want to offload Maxwel Cornet before looking too hard at Larsen.
We have 4-5 youngsters stepping up like earthy, Casey etc, like everyone has been moaning about to Moyes about give them a chance.
Cornet may just get a chance plus but we need 2 centre forwards over anything,
we have Bowen, kudos, Emerson, cornet can all play left, plus youngsters.
We also have a lot less games this year..
Slowing down 😆 we have bought 2 players and a training keeper ..the rest is just rumors that nothing comes of …I think maybe you mean we need to actually start putting sensible bids in to get the so called 5 or 6 players we need …or we are back to square one with introducing players to the squad when we are 5 games in ..then another month before they settle in .properly…..would be nice to have a full compliment before tye season actually starts for a change
He had a bad season at Burnley (6 goals is not brilliant) and with the likes of Fulham and Palace looking at him, is he the type of player we should be going after? There’s far better strikers been mentioned/rumoured about
Palace and Fulham eh well if that is true and we did want the player that should be no obstacle after all the reason we moved is so we can compete with the big boys!
