West Ham on West Ham

|

West Ham played West Ham at London Stadium although club insiders are tight-lipped on who won the game the Clarets or the Whites!.

David Moyes continues to have his players train at the empty London Stadium to get them acclimatised to play without supporters and this time it was an intrasquad game of 11 v 11.

West Ham will play two London friendlies next week when they  face QPR next Wednesday and Crystal Palace following next Saturday.

Players returned to Rush Green to train in small social distanced groups from mid-March after keeping fit at home with contact training resuming ten days ago on Thursday 28th May.

With ten full days remaining (excluding days off) before the West Ham plays their first competitive league game  Moyes and his backroom staff are pushing to get the whole squad as close to match fitness as the time allows. It will have been 105 days since they have been in competitive action.
