West Ham joint owner David Sullivan and the family wealth decreased by £60m in the last twelves months according to the Sunday Times Rich list for 2021. He has dropped down to 162st richest person in the UK with £1.04 billion.
In the 2019 Sunday Times Rich List, Sullivan was said to be worth £1.15bn.
Sullivan has dropped to 135th in last years Sunday Times Rich List 2020 with a fall of £50m down to £1.1billion.
David Gold and his family have dropped out of the list of the 250 most wealthiest people in Britain as the entry point is £613m. Last year his wealth was estimated to be £460m
Gold sold properties, land and a helicopter to raise funds for the Gold family to continue to support both West Ham and their Ann Summers group in the wake of the global pandemic.
Late last year he also sold his prized FA cup for £760,000 to the owner of Manchester City. Earlier this year Ann Summers reported a loss of £14m on a reduced turnover of £94m.
It’s not like they could ever spend all their money anyways. If I were them and I wanted to go out with a bang,I would put my last years into making my beloved West Ham a legacy and something that people will talk about for another lifetime. The owners could be legends if they played their cards right.
Best of the best! David and David is our clubs lifeline !
The hammers have worked wonders this season. Congratulations to messers Sullivan and Gold, Mr. Moyes and his coaching staff, the players (all of them) and the backroom staff including the medical staff. Thank you all.
I only hope that we can keep all or most of our players for next season. We must rebuff poachers when they come because our wonderful players seem very happy together. COYI.
THANK YOU ALL FOR HAVING GIVEN US SUCH PLEASURE THIS SEASON. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
