According to Matt Law in the Daily Telegraph, Slaven Bilic’s friendship with Antonio Conte has prompted West Ham to inquire about a number of Chelsea players including promising youngsters Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Dominic Solanke.
Chelsea head coach Conte and Bilic have already met each other twice this season, in the Premier League and the League Cup, and the pair are understood to share a mutual respect for each other.
West Ham are looking to exploit this budding relationship between the two men by trying to sign at least one player from Chelsea in January, either on loan or a permanent deal.
As long as we are not left “up the creek without a paddle” as we normally are in negotiations. Fabregas would be a coup if the owners could pull that one off.
Agree about Fabregas Roman as for Begovic yes he would be an upgrade but not a significant one and any keeper that is happy to warm a bench rather than play has to have some question marks surrounding them don’t they ? With Solanke he isn’t going to get any time in our first team so what’s the point and with Loftus Cheek why would we put him in ahead of our other midfielders ?
