West Ham planning double transfer

West Ham planning double winger transfer raid

EXWHUEmployee has provided a significant transfer update on his website, revealing that West Ham are actively pursuing the signing of TWO wingers.

Whilst in talks to potentially acquire Al-Ittihad winger Jota, West Ham are also in the final stages of completing the signing of Ibrahim Osman. A previous report by Claret & Hugh indicated that the Hammers were only £3 million away from finalising the deal for the Ghanaian.

As previously disclosed by West Ham ITK ‘Ex’ on The West Ham Way Patreon earlier in the window, the recruitment team, led by Tim Stediten, has identified Jota, a former Celtic player, as a target for this January transfer window. This interest remains, even if the acquisition of Ibrahim Osman materialises.

This would be incredibly exciting news for the club and would give manager David Moyes serious options in attack.

However, the likelihood of signing both Osman and Jota increases if there are departures during this window. The club is actively seeking to offload Said Benrahma, making room for potential incoming signings.

Whilst discussing the potential loan deal for Jota, Ex mentioned on The West Ham Way Patreon, “While it would seem unlikely that we would sign Osman and Jota, the departure of Said Benrahma may enable this to happen. The club is actively trying to encourage clubs to sign Benrahma – and at this stage would also consider loan moves to move him on.”

Ex also revealed that the club would entertain offers for other players during this window, including Fornals and Cornet, as West Ham continues to strengthen, following the imminent loan signing of Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.

This would be very exciting if it comes about, Jota can play as a false 9, two equally exciting possibilities are Florian Neuhaus and Bradley Locko who definitely look in the World class potential category. Neuhaus is a playmaker and a natural replacement for Paqueta, not so physically strong but supremely gifted at seeing spaces, creating opportunities and scores more goals, Locko is a no brainer we should be buying him, he has it all and is still raw.
