The 18-year-old defender Luis Brown has fuelled speculation of a permanent switch from Arsenal to West Ham United with a cryptic post on his Instagram account according to dailycannon.com

Brown went on trial with the Hammers back in March and has remained with the team ever since. His continued presence suggests a permanent move is on the horizon. This comes as Arsenal seems unlikely to offer him a professional contract.

Brown’s contract with Arsenal expires at the season’s end, making him a free agent. This opens the door for a cross-city move to West Ham.

Brown’s first appearance for West Ham’s U18 side in March was a positive one. He played the full 90 minutes in a dramatic comeback victory against Aston Villa.

Playing within a three-man defensive system, Brown impressed in his centre-back role, contributing to four wins in his five appearances for the West Ham U18s.

With Arsenal seemingly uninterested in extending his contract, West Ham could be snapping up a talented young defender on a free transfer. Brown’s trial period has been a success, and his continued presence suggests a permanent move is nearing completion.

This sounds like a good idea. And it’s one that perhaps David Moyes may not have much interest in.

Which reminds me, what is happening with that young Brazilian player that we recruited from, was it, Sao Paulo? And was Moyes the one driving that recruitment at the time? I hope somebody can answer as I am curious.
