West Ham have been ranked bottom in the Premier League for away day experience in the Annual report for the Football Supporters’ Federation published this morning.
Swansea were ranked top followed by Southampton and Middlesbrough while Everton were third from bottom and Palace second from bottom.
The FSF Annual report says: “The 2016/17 season saw the launch of the English Football League (EFL) Away Fan Experience Campaign.
“In April 2017, the EFL hosted a seminar attended by club representatives at which the FSF addressed why away fans are so important. The main thrust of the meeting was to provide detailed feedback on the findings of a series of “mystery shops”. The FSF helped to recruit the “shoppers” meaning the feedback was credible, honest and by genuine fans. Each fan followed a process that took in the purchasing of tickets, visits to the club website and the purchase of food and drinks, with various other assessments undertaken on the way.
We’ve crunched the numbers provided on Premier League clubs and produced a league table based on the average scores from almost 1,500 supporters.”
Lol thats what i was thinking Demon, they have probably got the ‘ump having to buy a ticket for a ground they are paying for already 😂
Who cares about how away fans feel? They paid for the stadium, so that’s all that matters!
What a load of tosh. The London Stadium is a great all round experience.
Secondly why should we care about the away fans. When I go to away games especially Newcastle they don’t give a toss for away fans. Still glad to see people are still jealous of The London Stadium
Can’t say I’m surprised, given it was our first season at the OS. Let’s see where we are at this point next year, when I would hope for some improvement. As long as this report divulges the criteria and detailed scores, it will be useful for improving it.
