West Ham Ready For Big Reality Check as Kudus Transfer Draws Near

Reports that West Ham are willing to accept offers below Mohammed Kudus’s buyout clause are probably accurate—if not a little obvious.

Claret & Hugh have regularly spoken to top sources and transfer insiders since the Hammers decided to sell Kudus back in November.

At that time, a senior West Ham insider informed us that the club would want over £100m for the Ghanaian winger—but much has changed since then. Neither former boss Julen Lopetegui nor current manager Graham Potter has managed to get a tune out of Kudus, whose value is now considerably lower.

A top transfer source spoke to C&H yesterday and said the Hammers could be looking at less than £60m unless a mini bidding war kicks off.

But suggestions that West Ham could receive anything close to the Premier League buyout clause of £85m now look fanciful.

Our top transfer source informed us: “At this point, West Ham will just be hoping the Saudi’s come in with silly money.”

At this stage it would appear that Kudus’ poor form this season has dropped his value significantly.

He’s under contract, we don’t have to sell for a knock down price

Why would Saudi’s come in with big money offer when it’s continually broadcast that whu will accept less?
Both Paqueta and Kudus were linked with £85m each in their heyday.
Now talking £30m Paqueta and £60m Kudus (performances may have gone down) but that looks to be a kick in the nuts.
These are players who could quiet easily return to form.
Desperately in need to off load them with usual whu style at significant overall loss.

Well. i didn’t think we’d get 125.million from Sadie. but getting less than 60 million for him is ”Absolutely-Crazy” as iv said b efore, now he’s settled in with Potter and he’s playing in the no 10 position which he wants to. everyone involved with the ”Hammers” has gotta agree the last 3 or 4 games he’s played a lot better and seams to be getting back to his former self and enjoying playing again. and again. yes alright 125 mill or even 85 mill it might of been worth selling him on. that sort of wonger could of bought 3,4 or even 5 players at a push, but whats under 60 mill gonna buy though. C O Y I’s

    Cheers Paul.
