West Ham receive improved offer for Arnautovic

|

Reports that West Ham have received a new €40 million offer for Marko Arnautovic are €15 million short of the reality

In fact Shanghai have upped their bid by just over €5 million to €25 million for the striker.

A report from journalist Dahbia Hattbi of the French media outlet Footmercato claimed Shanghai SPIG had upped their bid for Marko to 40m Euros (£35.9m) was immediately denied by the Hammers.

A highly placed West Ham insider speaking to Claret and Hugh via Email confirmed they had received a new take it or leave it off of 25m Euros (£22.5m).

The senior source said “I wish the offer was 40m euros ! They have gone to 25m euros and said take it or leave it.

The players/the manager want him out, so we will probably let him go despite the bad deal that it is”

A deal for £22.5m would mean Stoke City gets around £500,000 due to the sell on the clause of 20% on the profit from the original purchase of just over £20m. A further £1m would be paid to FIFA as a 5% solidarity payment leaving a net income of the transfer of £21m.

Whether we want him out of not ,we bowed down to payet and now we have bowed down to this bloke ..should of stood out ground even if we made him rot with the kids away from first team..2 players have done it now ,so others will do the same…fu!!!!! Joke…

Get shot but make him put in a transfer request and pay the loyalty bonuses back, in hindsight we should have taken the £35m the guy is never going to play for the club again whatever we get for him we can put into a proper player.

I always got the feeling Pellegrini didn’t want to give him a new deal in January. And his brother is ridiculous saying we are trying to sell when he got new deal saying he loved the fans badge blah blah & had £40m clause. Plus £20k extra & his brother did that. Yes we def should.of sold in Jan bc he didn’t do anything until last 2 games.
But I knew this was going to happen tho I thought we have half decent start then do in Jan. So better now then then easier to get replacements.

Good Riddens. I think they will hate China too. Mou said Arnie made Balotelli seem well behaved.

Take it for sure but remember this club never learns on deals. They could have sold this greedy moron and his agent greedy brother in Jan for alot more. Wouldnt have missed him them and could have got in a replacement of quality in return . They waste too much money and then panic buy like hugil ffs or Sanchez because it’s cheap and Perez same reason all wasted money adding up to an amount that would buy a quality player. Will this club learn under pelle only if sully and pelle is allowed to get forward and buy quality players that are young and have sell on profit when leaving unlike Perez sanchez hugill! So please start buy selling the really needed position of full back cresswell who has been the weak link for two seasons now and get in a quality left back that can defend asp otherwise were be in another situation like shedding lots of goals .

I realise this is a sceptical view, but think is is gonna get done at 30mil, and written up at 22.5m. Chinese have to pay 100% tax on these transfers, we have to pay Stoke 20% of profit. So declaring at £22.5m works for both clubs and there are plenty of ways to move the rest without being official.

Thats why WHU are so keen to release info to Sky and others about what a bad deal it is for us.

It also makes me feel better if I keep that thought. As the thought of us losing money so that this S**t gets what he wants would otherwise pee me off.

  • Take the money and get players in who are worth having.

20 million is a joke. I don’t blame the board for excepting the offer. But myself I would let him rot in the reserves. But we all hav to realise it’s not our money.
