West Ham remove Declan Rice shirt

Declan Rice’s famous No 41 shirt has been removed from the West Ham  club store as he move to Arsenal looks set to be completed over the next few days per London Evening Standard.

The North Londoners appear to have now won the players signature with only terms of payment to be sorted out having agreed to pay a record-smashing £105million for the 24-year-old after Manchester City joined and then left the race.

David Sullivan is now close to agreeing the payment terms with a West Ham source telling Claret and Hugh last night “we are getting there although there are a few things we are fighting about.”

It is expected that everything will be tied up by the latest next Monday when the club would make a public announcement though Rice is set to return from holiday for a medical before heading into pre-season.

Also missing from the club store is Manuel Lanzini’s No10 shirt, with the midfielder leaving the club on Friday following the expiry of his contract.
