West Ham Respond to Renewed Saudi Interest

West Ham have received no offers—or even enquiries—for star winger Mohammed Kudus, despite continued transfer speculation.

Fresh reports today linked the Ghanaian international with a summer move to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr, but club sources have told Claret & Hugh there’s been zero contact so far.

While the Hammers attacker remains one of four reported targets for the Saudi side—alongside Kaoru Mitoma, Antoine Semenyo, and Luis Díaz—it appears no Premier League clubs has come close to West Ham’s valuation either.

Just yesterday, a top insider dismissed talk of interest from Atletico Madrid, calling it false. However, they admitted the club would welcome serious offers given the planned squad rebuild this summer.

Al-Nassr, who currently sit fourth in the Saudi top flight, are said to be plotting a big-money move following their failed €90m attempt to land Brighton’s Mitoma in January. Their current strike force already includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and Jhon Durán.

Crucially, Kudus has a tiered buyout clause. For Premier League clubs, it’s set at £85m, but for Saudi teams, the release clause is believed to be a steeper £120m.

While Saudi insiders reportedly believe they can land Kudus for less, no offer has yet been tabled. That may change soon—with West Ham hopeful that the growing interest can spark a bidding war and drive up the price.

With Premier League clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea continuing to monitor the situation but unlikely to pay full price, Al-Nassr could still represent West Ham’s best chance of securing a massive fee for our star winger.

How about doing a swap deal with Duran

Why would the club say there have been no enquiries so far?

Surely better to just stay silent and create the perception the bidding has started, to help drive up his price

By saying there is no contact from anyone suggests interest is low so come and get him cheap.

A sheep in wolfs clothing….One season wonder …Just plays for himself…Always looking for the glory goal rather than the pass…Apart from Bowen our forward line has been poor..Kudus is not a loan player or old…He plays every game so there are no excuses really for his under par performances this season….We all know what he is capable of…Just doesnt want to know…Bye
