West Ham See Forest Bid Rejected

West Ham United have seen an initial bid for Nottingham Forest right-back Neco Williams rejected, as we look to strengthen our defensive options.

The Hammers have identified Williams as a potential target to provide competition for Vladimir Coufal, but Forest are determined to keep hold of the Wales international.

The 23-year-old has impressed since joining Forest from Liverpool and is seen as a key player for Steve Cooper’s side. West Ham may need to increase their offer to tempt Forest into selling.

Given the importance of the right-back spot, it would not be surprising to see the club submit a second offer for the Wales international, especially if they cannot strike a deal for an alternative signing- depending on the outcome of pending negotiations elsewhere. The full-back already has 38 international caps to his name, becoming an essential part of Rob Page’s squads at Euro 2020 and the Qatar World Cup, even scoring four goals during that time.

However, the transfer window still open, the Hammers still have time to explore alternative options at right-back, including of course the fluid situation with our negotiations with Bayern Munich for Noussair Mazraoui. Maybe Williams is one of several RB options being explored just to make sure that other potential acquisitions are available if required.

    Lazy reporting …..

lol even if there’s any truth in this “bid” Forest will not be parting ways with a player so vital also so much improved last season and tbh West Ham if anything is a step backwards for Neco

When will we actually buy somebody?

Even the title is ambiguous and misleading .. Forest reject Hammer’s bid would work.

Steve Cooper… Wait… Neco’s at Leicester… That traitoring son of a britch, you lot can have him now, oh wait, no, he’s already left then.
Wish Steve Cooper all my best by the way!

Ps… Whoever or whatever person/s or AI writes, reviews, researches this guff, it’s likely fine for a new upgrade.
