West Ham are closing in on making a bargain bid for top South American  prospect, left winger Dario Osorio.

He plays for Chilean top-flight side Universidad de Chile and got the first of his two Chile caps last year.

According to Alan Nixon of The Sun, who has always had good links with Hammers boss David Moyes, the player wants to come to Europe.

He claims Now the Irons will offer around £7.5million this week while AC Milan are also keen on  buying him  and loaning him out although Wolves also hold an interest. Universidad are allegedly ready to sell  and West Ham could grab him in before other Prem clubs act.

The Hammers are also waiting to find out what Everton midfielder Amadou Onana plans to do with his future apparently uncertain.

Irons boss David Moyes is keen on the Belgium ace, 21,  but the player would prefer a Champions League club if he moves.
