West Ham United are reportedly prepared to part ways with goal keeper Nathan Trott this summer under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Lopetegui, who is taking over the helm at West Ham, has inherited an unbalanced squad from his predecessor David Moyes. He is planning a significant overhaul, aiming to bring in at least seven or eight new players, with a focus on youth (75% under 24 years old).

This rebuild could mean the end of Trott’s West Ham career. Signed by Slaven Bilic in 2016, the 25-year-old has struggled to break into the first team and has spent the current season on loan at Vejle BK in Denmark. Despite Trott’s recent claim of believing he can still play for West Ham, this is looking increasingly unlikely.

The report, based on information from Danish outlet Tipsbladet, suggests West Ham will sell Trott but not for a bargain price. This could indicate potential interest from other clubs.

Trott’s eight-year spell at West Ham, which began with a move from Bermudan side North Village Rams, seems set to conclude this summer. He could become another player departing the club as Lopetegui implements his vision
