West Ham shell out £79m to agents and intermediaries

West Ham has paid out over £79m to agents and intermediaries since the FA required that amounts should be published.

£13,167,647 of that grand total was spent last season on agents by West Ham, the eighth biggest spenders  in the top flight league

The Hammers total is down on the £14,414,845 paid out to agents and intermediary in 2018/2019 season though.

    That’s why supporters are getting disillusioned with the game.
    Agents and players are bleeding the game dry and clubs allow it.
    Why? Because half the agents are relatives to the managers or directors of the clubs and paying these fees, it’s all very incestuous.
    Look at West Ham ladies, who funds that team? The agents that the club uses, so I read somewhere.
    Until FIFA/ UEFA bans any agent that had a relationship within either club Or has to be publicly declared and all agents fees must be paid by the players themselves, like every other run business in the modern world then the gravy train will roll on.
    I think it’s disgraceful.
