West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville could be out for the rest of the season due to injury.
Thatâs the latest information provided to Claret & Hugh by a top source at the London Stadium.
This morning, West Ham insider ExWHUEmployee reported that Summerville had refused an operation. The ÂŁ25m winger, injured during Graham Potterâs first match in charge, hasnât featured in a Hammers shirt since.
The summer signing was close to a return last month but suffered a setback despite rejoining first-team training.
Now, speaking exclusively to Claret & Hugh, a senior West Ham source has confirmed the full extent of the injuryâa devastating blow for Hammers fans.
“We still think it’s all season,” the source revealed.
“The danger is he breaks down again and then needs an operationâthe surgery he should have had last weekend. If that happens, he could miss the start of next season too!”
“There is a tiny possibility that time will heal him and he wonât need the operation,” they added.
This is a worrying update and the last thing both West Ham and Graham Potter need right now.
Summerville remains confident he can recover without surgeryâitâs his body, after all. One thing is certain: we need him back fit and firing as soon as possible, but not at the risk of long-term damage
Not another long term sick. Please, no.
This site claims to be a whufc site but it’s just clickbait and all round complete and utter bull****
I make him right to avoid surgery, anyone that has had surgery know you are never the same again and it will always remain a weakness hope he heals naturally and fully by next season in the meantime letâs give Guilherme a runout.
“a devastating blow” a little dramatic
How bizarre. Injured in the same game as Fulkrug, Summerville initially played on whereas Fulkrug was obviously crocked, yet Fulkrug appears will be back first.
Not if you read Martins story, don’t panic he will back back in Apri.
