Gambling firm Betway is expected to remain West Ham’s primary shirt sponsor next season before a Premier League voluntary ban comes into force at the start of the 2026/2027 season according to sources in the industry.

The Umbro shirt brand which is now licensed to Castore is expected to remain the shirt manufacturer for next season also.

In 2023 Premier League clubs collectively agreed to withdraw gambling sponsorship from the front of clubs’ matchday shirts at end of the 2025/2026 season, becoming the first sports league in the UK to take such a measure voluntarily in order to reduce gambling advertising.

Betway have been the front of shirt sponsor for West Ham since February 2015, and the Hammers currently reportedly earn £10 million per year from the current deal.

Claret and Hugh reached out to a club source this morning for confirmation who would not confirm or deny saying “Time will tell if your sources are right. An announcement will be made in due course”

So the sponsor hasn’t been revealed or the shirt manufacturers.
Both are ‘expected’ to remain the same

    A pointless, click bait article

Umbro will have designed the next kits many months ago. Clubs and manufacturers work together well in advance – possibly up to a year.
Most likely, West Ham will already know who the 2026-27 kit supplier will be.

This article is a complete waste of our time.

    Clickbait at it’s finest

Why do we have to wait for a voluntary ban? It is unacceptable for societal parasite betting firms to exist let alone take pride of place on a West Ham United shirt.

We should be looking to associate our team with a quality, wholesome and valued sponsor. Someone like Lidl. Leave Poundland to make their way on to Tottenham shirt fronts.

As for kit makers – anyone will do as long as they make sensible coloured football kit. Nothing crazy or fashionable. I’m not looking to wear my shirt out to nightclubs o
