Football.London has valued the current West Ham squad at £312m based on TransferMarkt valuations.
Transfer Market notoriously undervalues players so today Claret and Hugh give their own valuations as a combined effort by Hugh and Sean adding up to a squad value of £450m.

Valuations are a matter of opinion as well as how much another club is willing to play. Give us your own valuations below.
Thanks for the post, the value is immaterial. But basically both are correct, the higher value being what we would pay for the player, the lower value being what others would pay us for the player…

I agree that this is an interesting post and I also found a lot of value in James reply. Putting two strands together we will probably take a hit on Hugill – I think it is in his own interest to move even if it means a drop in salary – but that is really small change compared to ManU on Alexis Sanchez (who is I think older than Hugill and has already proved himself in football so could well just hang around and collect his substantial pay packet)
Diop and Rice worth another 20 million each in my view bearing in mind less good McGuire being sold for 80 million and Masuaku another 5million as a midfielder as he’s no defender Over on Hernandez Balbuena and hugill by at least 2 million each but rest agree with you
Good post! Definitely agree that TransferMarkt undervalue a lot of players – and grossly overvalue players in top clubs. Alexis Sanchez would be an example that springs to mind immediately, as manutd are struggling to give him away for free atm. I also love the notion that you have not placed crazy prices on our hottest two rumour-mill-whores(Rice and Diop, lol) either, while still valuing them higher than the website.
However, I think you too have overvalued some players in our squad. While I understand why you would for example place a value of £20m on Balbuena, my opinion is that he would not fetch that if the club needed a buyer for him right now. In this case, I believe transfermarkt to be closer to the correct valuation.
Jordan Hugill is a player you and transfermarkt more or less agree on, both stating a value of £6m. I choose this example because 1) you have placed similar value on him and, 2) there is zero interest for him at this price. The club have quite publicly made the player available for a transfer, or even loan, and still no traction.
In total I believe you are off by about £50m give or take. Wilshere, Lanzini, Fredericks, Balbuena, Johnson, Holland, Coventry make up the majority of that. Either way, I hope we some more magic from Husillos before the window closes.
