West Ham Starting XI against the Baggies

With 185 Claret and Hugh readers voting in the people’s choice starting XI the results are now in for today’s game against West Brom at the London Stadium

Fabianski is in goal with the maximum 185 votes

The backline consists of Aaron Cresswell 181 votes, Angelo Ogbonna 185 votes, Craig Dawson 175 votes and Vladimir Coufal 181 votes.

Arthur Masuaku is out.

Issa Diop 5 votes, Fabian Balbuena 8 votes, Ryan Fredericks 2 votes and  Ben Johnson 5 votes all fail to make the grade

Declan Rice gets an impressive near maximum of 84 votes and looks odds-on to captain to Hammers with Tomas Soucek also on 184 votes.

In midfield is Said Benrahma 175 votes Pablo Fornals 156 votes and Jarrod Bowen with 178 votes

Michail Antonio is upfront on 164 votes.

Manuel Lanzini  28 votes, Yarmolenko 10 votes and Mark Noble 2 votes all fail to make the cut.

    The team is picking itself at the moment. No surprises here, showing fans appreciate the team are doing well. Only issue is that in half of the team the replacements are not maintaining the standard, so it’s back to the point of the other articles aired in the last week- squad size and ability to cope with extra fixtures in Europe if we ever got there. How do you rest anyone? Perhaps worth given the youngsters some pitch time as subs if we get comfortable in games
