West Ham starting XI: The Peoples choice

With over 165 Claret and Hugh readers voting for their West Ham starting XI to face Hull City tonight in the Carabao Cup, the results are now in.

Darren Randolph gets the nod in goal with 154 votes giving Fabianski a rest.

In defence Ben Johnson, 144 votes, Fabian Balbuena, 151 votes, Issa Diop, 114 votes and Arthur Masuaku, 88, get the nod with Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna and Ryan Fredericks given the night off.

In midfield Josh Cullen 144 votes Robert Snodgrass, 12o votes, Felipe Anderson, 133 votes, Andriy Yarmolenko, 12o votes, and Manuel Lanzini, 140 votes

Seb Haller on 152 votes also gets a start-up front.

Missing out and rested are Tomas Soucek 25 votes Declan Rice 63 votes, Jarrod Bowen 48 votes Michail Antonio 48 votes Jack Wilshere 80 votes and Mark Noble 34 votes.

  1. No Cullen on the sky sports starting 11 – and Wilshere too. WTF he is playing Wilshere at all is anyones guess. Must be injuries or must be keeping Cullen fresh for back up in the PL. Not sure why else unless he’s being sold too 🙂 Apologies, I shouldn’t joke about that and tempt fate!

    We still have a decent team out but I don’t even like seeing Wilshere on the bench let alone the starting 11. Starting with Ashby too, so thisis his golden chance to show everyone what he can do from the first whistle. COYI
