West Ham Starting XI: The Peoples Choice

With 165 Claret and Hugh readers voting in the people’s choice starting XI the results are now in for today’s game against Burnley at the London Stadium

Fabianski is in goal with 121 votes with Darren Randolph on 42 votes.

The backline consists of Aaron Cresswell 139 votes, Angelo Ogbonna 163 votes, Craig Dawson 131 votes and Vladimir Coufal 164 votes.

Arthur Masuaku and Fabian Balbuena are out.

Issa Diop 17 votes, Ben Johnson 12 votes, Ryan Fredericks 2 votes and  Ben Johnson 12 votes all fail to make the grade

Declan Rice gets an impressive maximum of 165 votes and looks odds-on to captain to Hammers with Tomas Soucek also on 165 votes.

In midfield is Said Benrahma 147 votes Pablo Fornals 119 votes and Jarrod Bowen with 162 votes

Michail Antonio is upfront on 152 votes.

Manuel Lanzini  28 votes, Yarmolenko 10 votes and Mark Noble 2 votes all fail to make the cut.

    Looks like we’ve arrived at a point where Moyes choice is also the people’s choice. Moyes seems to pick the exact team I would pick the majority of the time. Think the team picks itself really going on player performances. It’s a shame we don’t have any players on the bench pushing for a starting place in my eyes. Seems we have a pretty thin squad. Maybe we need some new signings that are going to seriously challenge for a starting place.
