West Ham starting XI: The people’s choice

ClaretandHugh readers voting in the people’s choice starting XI the results are now in for Monday’s Premier League evening game against Leeds United at the London Stadium.

With 170 results in Fabianski remains in goal assuming he is fit with 164 votes.

The backline consists of Aaron Cresswell 167 votes, Issa Diop 157 votes, Craig Dawson 163 votes and Vladimir Coufal 165 votes.

Arthur Masuaku, Angelo Ogbonna and Yarmolenko are out.

Fabian Balbuena 10 votes. Ryan Fredericks 12 votes and  Ben Johnson 17 votes all fail to make the grade

Declan Rice gets an impressive 167 votes and looks odds-on to captain to Hammers with Tomas Soucek one better on 168 votes.

In midfield is Said Benrahma 113 votes Jesse Lingard 166 votes and Jarrod Bowen with 103 votes

Michail Antonio with 165 votes is upfront

Pablo Fornals 98 votes Manuel Lanzini  10 votes and Mark Noble 2 vote and Mipo 2 votes fail to make the grade.

  1. I cannot believe fans have put Bowen into the team over Fornals. Fornals has been the outstanding player in the last few games and is at the top of his game which is completely the opposite to a tired looking Bowen. We cannot carry a player that is not 100% against a team like Leeds so I would go with this team with the exception of Fornals for Bowen.
