West Ham United have turned their attention to – amongst others – Roma striker Tammy Abraham as an alternative to their primary target, Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran.

The Hammers have been in negotiations with Villa for Duran throughout the summer but have been unable to agree on a fee. With the transfer window closing in, West Ham have identified Abraham as a potential replacement.

Abraham is viewed as a cheaper option than previous Hammers target Jhon Duran, with sources claiming he would be available for £25million.

West Ham agreed personal terms with Duran last month but could not strike an agreement with his club Aston Villa and the deal collapsed.

It’s led to the focus turning to Abraham, who previously scored 26 goals in 89 Premier League appearances.

With West Ham focusing on signing a forward this summer, it will be no surprise to see Danny Ings heading for the exit door provided a package can be agreed with his next club to subsidise his wages: No mean feat as the player himself was averse to a move to Southampton earlier in the window: Perhaps he has had time to rethink.

No thanks from me! Injury riddled and poor scoring record since he left Chelsea. Rather see a “pearl” from Tim who can learn from Fullkrug and Mikey and step up next season when Mikey leaves and Fullkrug a year older

    Samu Omorodion available

Indeed, more later about this frankly exciting young CF – here’s hoping!

Could Samu’s transfer to Chelsea collapsing, coupled with their focus potentially moving to Felix help with Villa lowering their own demands for Duran to push a transfer for Felix through?

Proper clutching at straws, but possible! I’d really love to see Duran in another shade of claret this season.

Abraham was clear that he wanted to stay in Italy.

    roma are propagandists

remember all the rubbish about scamacca

ignore everything coming out of their socials, it’s almost certainly nonsense

Due to Antonio and Ings deliberation there have been 4 possible strikers named.
Elye Wahl who has gone to Marseille.
Jhon Duran looks to staying at Villa.
Samu Omoradium (unless it’s a smoke screen) has been dismissed by whu.
By process of elimination that just leaves Tammy Abraham.
Judging by comments there needs to be an addition to Fullkrug.
