West Ham United could be on the verge of making a historic splash in the transfer market, targeting Croatian youngster Rokas Pukstas from Hajduck Split. This potential move could see the Hammers break the Croatian transfer record, currently held by Nikola Vlasic’s £9.2 million move to Everton in 2017.

According to a report from Vecernji List ,West Ham aren’t alone in their pursuit of Pukstas, as fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Aston Villa are also reportedly interested in the 19-year-old attacking midfielder.

Pukstas, though not yet a big name, is generating significant interest with his versatility and promising skillset. He can comfortably play as an attacking midfielder, a deeper central midfielder, or even out wide.

The teenager enjoyed a productive season in Croatia’s top league, scoring eight goals and contributing one assist.

Pukstas is known for his good touch and vision on the ball, allowing him to create scoring opportunities or take shots himself. However, he needs to refine his decision-making and reduce his tendency to give away possession.

Despite lacking standout pace or exceptional creativity, Pukstas has drawn comparisons to German star Thomas Müller, known for his exceptional footballing intelligence. This suggests Pukstas’ ability to excel alongside talented teammates and improve his game.

Pukstas is a young talent with a bright future. Whether West Ham can secure his signature and break the Croatian transfer record remains to be seen, . However, the player’s agent’s hints suggests that a move is imminent, making this a transfer story to watch closely.

Usual quality standard of “journalism” from C&H.

Pukstas is American/Lithuanian not Croatian. Even 2mins of actual research or effort would have told you that rather than a lazy cut & paste from some random X account.

Please, please stop with Mr. Leyland’s “reports”.

We are “eyeing”, “digging in for”, “chasing”, “in the hunt for” a Wonderkid from blah, blah

This site is blowing chunks, not bubbles, it seems.
