West Ham defensive target Oumar Solet has signed with Will Salthouse’s Unique Sports Group.
The Hammers have been linked with the Udinese defender regularly over the past six months, and his switch to the Salthouse stable will only increase speculation.
West Ham have frequently worked with USG to sign players — most recently Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined from the same agency. Salthouse has also been a regular visitor to the London Stadium, where his client list includes Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell.
The agent has been pictured twice this season alongside West Ham chairman David Sullivan at the London Stadium, and connections between the club and his group are well known.
That said, USG’s three West Ham clients are just a small portion of the agency’s portfolio, with Salthouse currently representing no fewer than ten Wolverhampton Wanderers players.
Southampton defender and Hammers target Taylor Harwood-Bellis also recently made the switch to USG and is probably a more likely arrival at the London Stadium than Solet at this stage.
However, the Udinese defender has excelled in Serie A this season and certainly can’t be ruled out — especially if West Ham decide to move on from Dinos Mavropanos or Nayef Aguerd this summer.
if West Ham move on from Aguerd OR Mavropanos it would madness to sell Aguerd. easily the better of those 2
