West Ham targeting PSG forward

|

West Ham United are targeting PSG forward Hugo Ekitike according to reports in France. The Hammers consider a striker to be a priority, and have asked about Ekitike on loan.

Tim Steidten had previously recommended Elye Wahi from Montpellier, but has now set his sights the Paris Saint-Germain striker.

West Ham are targeting PSG forward Ekitike

A transfer to The London Stadium could see the 21-year-old get his career back on track. He has struggled for regular game time since his move from Stade de Reims last year. West Ham were linked with the forward last year, and were set to battle it out with Newcastle for his signature.

Ekitike has barely featured for his club since signing. Ironically the player was recruited following PSG losing out to West Ham for Gianluca Scamacca.

The Irons are expected to table an initial loan bid with an option to buy for around £30 million. West Ham face competition from Everton AC Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt and Lyon who are also keen to sign Ekitike.

Started Hammers Chat alongside my partner in crime Geo back in 2014 and brough in to Claret & Hugh by my old mate Hughie to produce videos a couple of years later.

Give West Ham opinions on Sky Sports News and even did a bit of moonlighting on BBC Football Focus.

Sometimes feature on BBC Radio 5 Live and once ate a biscuit in Tony Gales shed.

Connoisseur of salted caramel doughnuts and I love a Sloppy Giuseppe pizza although I'm slightly suspicious where the name came from.

When I'm not moaning about West Ham I can be found walking a dog that looks like a sheep and tinkering with pinball machines.
