West Ham Ticketing Update

founder_article_imageClaretandHugh understands that the club are fully aware that some supporters have not received their paper tickets for the Europa League match against Domzale on Thursday or the Betway Cup friendly against Juventus on Sunday and are working on rectifying that as soon as possible.

A source close to the club told ClaretandHugh this afternoon that it was a case of all hands to the pump with extra help from the finance and human resources department as well as senior management stuffing envelopes all day to ensure all paper tickets go out for the Europa game this evening in the post. Both the Europa League and Juventus game sold out all 54,000 tickets today and the logistical challenge of sending out over 108,000 paper tickets has been a challenge for the club.

Our source explained that the delay of sending out season ticket welcome packs and access cards has been caused by an external printing and mailing company not meeting their agreed deadlines. The club are confident that the paper welcome packs and access cards will be received well advanced of the first Premier League game against Bournemouth but in the meantime they have decided to email all season ticket holders and Europa League/Juventus ticket holders a digital welcome pack which should start arriving in your inboxes this evening.

  1. To be honest Sean.. It’s not just the season tickets ! the club needs to sort out the booking office. I have my tickets for both matches. BUT Iv’e paid more in phone calls than I have in the cost of the tickets.
They said last season that it would be sorted ! But the same problems still exist. Long waits,
lines dropping out when I have been hanging on for 40 mins plus heavy connection charges when using mobiles. And most recently when i queried something ! I was promised a call back which I never received. come on the Dave’s get this sorted..COYI

  2. Had the same problem. Spent over 30 quid on the phone just trying to upgrade my sons ticket to an adult one. Still not managed to do it, which means I’m going on my own. Given 4 different phone numbers and spent circa 20 minutes on hold each time only to be told “you need to phone this number”. I actually wanted to kill someone and throw my season ticket in the bin (if it had actually turned up yet) by the time I gave up. I get it, new stadium, new processes etc, but definitely not good enough. Left a sour taste in the mouth paying over 60 quid getting nowhere for something that should arguably be free(European ticket for season ticket holders AND bloody phone calls to WHU to sort out their issues), that being said I will cut them some slack for now, but the Daves need this sorted before the season starts. COYI
