West Ham to launch Junior fans forum

|

West Ham are to launch a new Junior Fans Forum for the coming season.

Supporters Service manager, Jake Heath told the Supporters Advisory Board in July that the objectives of the new Junior Fans Forum were;

• To engage directly with West Ham’s younger supporters

• To provide a unique platform for young supporters to share their views and experiences

• To survey junior members with new initiatives and ideas

• To enhance the supporter experience for young Hammers

The proposed format would be two groups of ten juniors (11-15-year-olds and 16-20-year-olds).

Both forums will be held on same day and in school holidays to maximise the opportunity for young people to come along and the Club will work with the Foundation to create a forum.

The Club plans to send out a survey to all Claret Juniors beforehand to inform discussion topics/events at the forum. There would also be opportunities for junior forum members to participate in the matchday experience and involve their fellow junior supporters on the day.
