Arsenal has announced 22 players will be released Luton Town have released 14, Newcastle 11, Nottingham Forest 4, Brentford 3 and Everton have announced the release of 2 players.

The Premier League will publish a retained list for all Premier League clubs in June, but clubs usually announce it before that date.

Kalvin Phillips has returned to Manchester City after the end of his disappointing loan spell.

Ben Johnson, Divin Mubama, Angelo Ogbonna, Joseph Anang, Dan Chesters and Jacob Knightbridge are all expected to be released along with many other youngsters.

Michail Antonio, Vladimir Coufal, Aaron Cresswell, Nathan Trott and Łukasz Fabiański will be retained after having club options activated.

All five Hammers originally had contracts which expired at end of this month but will be retained for between one and two years.

  • LORD ROBERT VENOUR says:

Sully at his best gonna be a hasbeen squad again going for players we’re never going to get unless old or a freebie the man has no intention of spending money got a manager who cost nothing can’t be trusted

    • John Farley says:

Why get rid of Ben Johnson and angelo obonna, what have they done they should be retained not released.

      • Jacko says:

Johnson got offered new deals but he kept turning them down, can’t keep a player if he won’t sign a new contract.

Oggy yes we should have done more to keep him for another year or 2 and in some form of coaching role great servant to the club.
