Breaking reports have suggested that Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry for West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville.
The rumours, which began circulating on social media within the last half hour, claimed there had been dialogue between Spurs and the Hammers. It was also suggested a valuation of £25m had been discussed for the Dutch winger, who impressed again when West Ham beat Thomas Frank’s side 2-1 last weekend.
Claret & Hugh have spoken exclusively to a top source at the London Stadium in the last few moments to establish the truth behind the reports. The response was unequivocal: “No offer made, but he’s not for sale.”
West Ham Draw a Firm Line
It is also worth noting that Summerville is a firm favourite of manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who would not sanction a deal under any circumstances whatsoever. Even if reports of a bid were accurate, a £25m valuation is significantly below what West Ham would even consider for the player.
Irrespective of any speculation, the message from the very top of the club is clear: Crysencio Summerville is not for sale.
Sullivan looking to sell anything he can, hawking like a market trader and then denying any knowledge. Only he would quote a price less than we paid.
In my view our best signing over the last 2 seasons ….
And a Sullivan signing
25 million, get real, needs to be treble that to even think about it, then it’s a no!
Oh yes he is Watch this one space
Is it mischief making or trying to turn the players head
More garbage. If West Ham were looking at a Summerville equivalent player at another club, they would not even speak to us at less than £40m. Based on his last two games, his value to West Ham in their current position is £50m plus, and as we are talking about those clowns at Tottenham, the starting point of any discussion should be £80m plus, so that should kill any conversation, real or imagined.
Is there a player of ours Spurs aren’t reportedly interested in?. Hopefully we’ll offer them Kilman.
I’d pay them to take Kilman
