Orkun Kokcu
It appears that the Feyenoord duo Orkun Kokcu and Santiago Gimenez are both on our radar according to the Daily Mirror.
West Ham scouts watched them both play in the 2-1 defeat against their rivals Ajax, with Giminez scoring a peach of a goal
The Mexican international has bagged 17 goals from his 36 Feyenoord games following his move from Cruz Azul last summer.
He is obviously being seen as an answer to our shyness in front of goal. Whilst the 22 year old Kokcu who is captain of their side with over 150 appearances is being considered as a new midfield option with Declan Rice still on his way in the summer.
Premier League safety will, of course, be the minimum requirement for the Irons if we are to have any hope of landing either one or both of the talented duo but thankfully the second away win of the season sees hope springing eternal.
I can not for the life of me understand this. We bought foreign players last year and just kept getting they need time to settle in. Surely his proves we now need to buy British and in the young and hungry model that they keep saying about.
