Here’s your latest West Ham United transfer round-up from the past 24 hours — all the gossip, rumours, and whispers doing the rounds:

According to ExWHUEmployee, West Ham have submitted an offer for Southampton’s Mateus Fernandes, but the player and his agent are said to prefer a move abroad.

The club have distanced themselves from reports suggesting an official bid has been made for Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. However, conflicting sources maintain that West Ham remain interested. A source close to the club says Hermansen is a player of interest, but Zion Suzuki remains the top target between the sticks.

West Ham have made a concrete bid for Botafogo goalkeeper John Victor, but the offer has been rejected by the Brazilian club.

Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey is said to be West Ham’s top midfield target, and talks have taken place. However, the rumoured £40-50 million price tag — coupled with doubts over the player’s desire to move — could prove to be a stumbling block, despite him being represented by Will Salthouse, who has close ties to the club.

Elsewhere, Hayden Hackney is expected to join Ipswich and Tyler Morton could head to Lyon. West Ham’s lack of interest in either midfielder is believed to be due to the emergence of Freddie Potts.

Meanwhile, Everton have had a £27 million bid rejected for Southampton winger Tyler Dibling, and West Ham are among the clubs reportedly monitoring the situation.

The club stinks from the top down. Years of leaks to a so called ITK who is clearly getting passed info from the club, The Will Salthouse saga every transfer window..how.much has he fleeced the club for over the years? A full list of players he has dumped on us would be an interesting read. No business or club in the world works this way. Not to mention the rented stadium or the portacabin training ground that doesn’t even have a swimming pool.

    Thanks for the update.
In the meantime I am scouting the Highland League for cheap recruits on behalf of Mr Sullivan. Can you give Geo my regards as I understand he now lives in England. Perhaps he is disappointed at Inverurie Locos at their poor start to the season.

My team Banks o’ Dee have got off to a slow start as well!

We all no Gonzo that if we are in for Suzuki and Sullivan is doing the deal he will come back with a Lambretta

In short another day very little progress.
The scattergun links, rumours and occasional low offers suggest the club really aren’t serious about anyone and are smokescreening a lack of real progress.
