West Ham transfer update

|

A second bid by West Ham for Nottingham Forest’s Matty Cash now seems unlikely with the Championship side determined to keep hold of their important player. Club insiders have this morning confirmed an offer totalling £12m was rejected by Forest who are fourth in the second-tier league as they push for promotion to the Premier League.

If they fail to gain promotion they will listen to offers in the summer from West Ham.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Kaveh Solheekol claims ‘West Ham in talks to sign Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy on loan. Amiens paid Köln £5m for him last summer.’

David Moyes admitted nothing close at the moment saying it could all come down to transfer deadline day.

The manager told reporters at yesterday’s pre-match press conference “Sometimes it does go to the last day, sometimes that’s what you have to do. That’s why the deadline is that way. We’ve been linked with loads of players, it’s incredible the number we’ve been linked with. We’re always interested in players out there but we have nothing definite, nothing imminent that’s going to happen. But we are trying.”

Marc..that’s a bit harsh on a second hand Reliant Robin 😂😂

Protest over what? The board arent to blame that our best player fabianski got badly injured causing us to use a reserve keeper who was not signed by the board and who was the goalkeeping equivalent of a second hand robin reliant. Which is why there were no protests before that injury and why it immediately became the boards fault that an experienced manager couldnt find his way out of it. Yes the buck stops with them but the whole they are to blame for everything doesnt wash with me

I would of been going mad last year about transfers but what’s the point. We are like this every season..us being upset wont make a blind biting difference to the David’s and Brady because deep down they don’t give a fu!!! And at the end of the day they just go back to there luxurious lifestyle.. if we get relegated at least we might get the youngsters who are hungry for playing football playing rather than overpaid pre madonna’s.. and owners that only see the money side …

Marc, I agree that Roberto has alot to answer for with the nose dive in performance but it’s not just the keeper. The squad is exposed with major flaws that need urgently addressing and we are at the end of the transfer window with one player in to address one flaw. The board where too in decisive with sacking MP( I wast shouting MP out but it was painful in the end) what sort of plan is we’ll give him another two games if he wins? that happened two/three times it was prolonging the inevitable and costing us dearly.

I just dont believe the are the right people take us forward, maybe it better the devil you know we will see.

The only thing ever gonna make this board leave the club is a full boycott but it’s never gonna happen. As hugh said previously not until 2023 as again its all about money. But i do wonder how many fans if they where in there position would sell and loss 20% themselves. Would you sell your house for 20% less?

The thing is they know if we are relegated they have been in the position twice before and will quite happily wait for a return to the premier league, but there is the gamble we may never return for years which will see there business plan blow up in front of there eyes as it’s already doing that.

So if I was them I would try get those players we require knowing they will all clear if we get relegated anyway.

    Hugh would you ever boycott?

The likelihood is we will be playing forest if they don’t get promoted anyway !

What a load of old tosh.

I agree completely, boring excuses, instead of action, you intend to spend nothing and we are supposed to put up with it and watch crap. Well the time is ticking, buy or never look to see me the rest of the season. If others followed, punishment in the pocket might get through to them.

Mickey Mouse 🐭 owners, have backed every manager except Moyes. We need a striker central midfielder and a left back as a bare minimum. All of this has been mismanagement led. Thanks David’s for bailing the club out but please sell us to someone with deeper pockets and a coherent strategy.

David that sounds like a board comment getting balled off with it now
Tic toc tic toc tic toc ..oh we tried !!
