West Ham United are now exploring the possibility of signing Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan as they face a setback in their pursuit of former Chelsea teammate N’Golo Kante.
The Hammers’ initial £15 million bid for Kante was rejected by Al-Ittihad, with the Saudi Arabian club showing no inclination to sell the French midfielder. Despite Kante’s potential interest in a Premier League return, it appears unlikely at this stage for a number of reasons previously discussed in previous posts.
As a result, West Ham have shifted their attention to Tomori, who has impressed during his time at Milan. The English defender has previously expressed interest in joining the Hammers but opted to stay at Chelsea to further his development.
The 26-year-old defender has made 142 appearances for Milan since his £24m move in 2021. But there appears to be a managerial change in the offing at AC Milan and as result Tomori’s future at the club is uncertain, making him a viable target for West Ham.
But Transfermarkt value him at £40 million, which does seem a tad expensive. Surely there are better value for money options out there?
Managers like dithering Dave and Southgate have no place in modern football.Negative tactics are like a virus that spreads through the squad. And then all off the players freeze like they are rabbits in the headlights off a car! Sullivan has backed so yes you can blame all our poor play lack off tactics and dire defense on Moyes who was a Centre Back just like southgate!!!
to be fair I don’t think a single West Ham fan thought Kante was going to sign for us, lol
How is interest in a centre back related to a move for a centre mid? Click bait
Year in year out, nothing changes with West Ham transfer policy.Just keep making ridiculous offers for impossible targets in an attempt to show that efforts are being made.Come the end of August very few incoming!
So does that mean that the fans were wrong to blame it all on dithering David Moyes?
and year in, year out, people make the same ridiculous comments.
