West Ham United — January Transfer Rumours

With January fast approaching the Irons will inevitably be linked any number or transfer targets, free signings, permanent deals and loans as Manuel Pellegrini moves to save his dying seson

We have plenty of decent information thus far with some well-informed rumours in the mix too Punters who enjoy EPL FC betting are all set to make new analyses and predictions after the transfer window concludes, so let’s see who West Ham United’s officials have their eyes on. Read on!

Real Turns Down Luka Jovic Offer

One recent rumour that the Hammers were keen to do a deal with Real Madrid for Seb Haller’s former Eintracht Frankfurt striker was immediately knocked down by the Hammers who had indeed inquired but were knocked back immediately knocked back. However, there is substance to suggestions that either former stopper Darren Randolph could be on his way back from Middlesbrough so long as the Hammers dig up £5 million although Bournemouth’s Asmir Begovic – whose contract runs out on December 31 is also very much in frame. In midfield Stoke’s holding midfielder Joe Allen could easily be a target.

Moyes in West Ham?

With all the speculation surrounding Manuel Pellegrini’s position the name David Moyes continues to dominate any replacement talk. According to an article published in The Independent, it seems he would become the obvious candidate were the Chilean become the victim of the dirty deed!  Senior figures will want him to have the Christmas period with hopefully inspirational keeper Lukasz Fabianski back to give him a real chance. If things go sour once again, Moyes is a leading candidate.

However, whether the Scot would accept a short-term contract with the Hammers doing so last time before being moved aside for Pellegrini.

Manquillo to Come from Newcastle?

Newcastle’s Right sided defender Javier Manquillo is thought by some to be on the Irons radar after a reasonably impressive Newcastle United spell. His contract expires next summer, and some rumours claim the Irons could pick him up for around £5 million.

With Pablo Zabaleta retiring at the end of the season it’s believed both Manuel Pellegrini and Mario Husillos – given their Spanish connections are keen on a player who could make a handy replacement for veteran Zaba.

Hammers Don’t Give up on Belotti

Last summer,  Torino were reported to have offered mega dough for Andrea Belotti, and although it didn’t happen he continues to be linked with the Irons. Belotti apparently agreed his own new deal at the time whilst the Hammers – after missing out on Maxi Gomez brought – in Sebastien Haller who has turned out to be a pretty good investment.

Belotti’s name will no doubt crop again but he looks an unlikely purchase at around £40 million at a time of the year when all clubs are looking to hold on to their top names. A safer bet – if indeed there is such a thing at this time of the year – will be Inter’s Gabriel Barbosa – currently on loan at Flamengo with the Irons definitely interested.

There are options and the Irons will perhaps use both loan and permanent options with Carlos Sanchez and Albian Ajeti two who will be on their way out if buyers can be found.
