62,000 fans wait to see if Graham Potter will stick with his more aggressive three up front attacking line-up that featured against Wolves yet failed to find the net on Tuesday. Waiting for the team announcement it is worth reflecting on the relative form of these teams, somewhat surprisingly West Ham are ahead, taking seven points from the last six games ahead of Bournemouth’s four.

Which is pretty average from both teams and doesn’t seem like the precursor to a classic this afternoon. Potter hopefully has a fit-again Mohammed Kudus and Jean Clair Todibo to select after their absences on Tuesday. The set-up of the team will have us all scratching our heads when the side is announced:

1.45pm and the side has just been published: Potter has made four changes, dropping Ferguson, Guilherme, Cresswell and Mavropanos.

West Ham United

Areola | Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Scarles, Alvarez, Ward-Prowse, Soucek, Paquetá, | Bowen, Kudus

Don’t forget to check back immediately after the game ends for ‘Gonzo’s player ratings’ and Martin’s “final score-first impressions’ articles that will be live shortly after 5pm

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970.. Don't take my comments too seriously, imagine we are having a chat at half time over a pint at L S and "let's disagree without falling out".

Half-Time and WottaLoadaRubish so far. We need a Fullkrug now. No Halfkrug stuff.

Brilliant losing again at half time and we have not created a single chance from open play in the entire 1st half after 4 changes from Wolves. 2 centre forwards on the bench and didn’t start either of them FFS what is he doing!

  • Timbo says:

Hope that Fullkrug on in 2nd half. Playing without a natural CF at home has not worked all year.

I was hoping to see Fullkrug, perhaps as a sub.

    2 CFs on bench 👍.

    I’m now bemused.
