West Ham want to clinch Callum Marshall deal

West Ham want to clinch a Callum Marshall deal with Divin Mubama  no closer to signing a new deal and his agents proving more and more troublesome. With hopes high that the teenager may get a run-out at Burnley this weekend, Claret and Hugh has learned that the player and his agents remain in the same place over his first team wages demands.

As a result it is proving difficult for David Sullivan to meet the boy on his own as he did Jarrod Bowen. It could of course be the teenager will get minutes at Turf Moor this weekend and  with Michail Antonio unavailable he could be persuaded to look more kindly at signing a new deal should he get more chances.

In the meantime we understand that the club are ready to agree a new deal with academy hot shot Callum Marshall who has been in sensational form for the Development team this season. He certainly looks to be the striker we have been waiting for at the club but will of course need to get his chances of first team football very soon.

And it is of course  down to the manager to show how much faith he has in him and others within the academy by giving him first team minutes.

What a cock up of epic proportions, driven by Moyes trying to get young players to sign up whilst actively blocking them to first team appearances. Burnley manager must be praying we start Ings again. Fade and die.
