Fulham manager Marco Silva has begun getting his excuses in early ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League game against West Ham. In his pre-match press conference, Silva trotted out the old “no easy games” mantra — but for once, I believed it.
Because despite the 5–2 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool, Nuno Espírito Santo’s Hammers remain a very different proposition from the last time the sides met. There is a unity and a fighting spirit about West Ham now which seems to have as much to do with certain departures as it does with the January arrivals.
Speaking ahead of the game, Silva said:
“They signed some players, and they readjusted. The organisation is there. They have been difficult to beat, even games they lost. At any moment, you feel they are creating chances. They are going to be very difficult to beat. They are confident.”

Adama Traore is unlikely to start against his former club but Marco Silva has praised West Ham’s attacking
A Different West Ham Under Nuno
Now I’m assuming silva wasn’t alluding to his former player Adama Traore as sought to blow a little smoke up West Ham’s backside, but I’m certain he’s not expecting an easy game
Whatever happened at Anfield, there is a clear shift in attitude and structure under Nuno. The Hammers look more organised, harder to break down and, crucially, a more together band of brothers.
This is a MUST, MUST win game — just to emphasise the importance — and West Ham will travel to Craven Cottage as a highly motivated side.
If Westham can win , they’ll put huge pressure on Forest , Spurs and Leeds who just lost again .
This is our one big chance Gonzo and we must take it To get out of the bottom 3 would be massive to put pressure on others
Forms are nigh on identical over four six and eight games, there’s no obvious winner…
