West Ham were scandalous

West Ham were scandalous – a total disgrace of a performance from a team without a clue!

We were thrashed and all the old faults were still there right until the end as, when we needed to attack, we continued to pass backwards and sideways, playing the game at a non existent tempo as Fulham thundered forward and scored some great goals.

Those of us who have been around supporting this club a long time would, of course,  more than half expected to lose after the magnificent win at Spurs. It’s what West Ham have been for a long time, unexpected victories and disastrous losses.

But the scandal today was that nobody tried and the body language was dreadful.  Hammers fans can take being beaten as long as the team has given its all.

Today they gave nothing and the only upside may be that this is the end of him – I’m talking about Moyes – but I am not holding my breath it will happen.

The team looked weary and that’s because they have been playing virtually – if not all – PL: games this season because Moyes doesn’t have a squad from which he can pull subs who can make a difference.

Today he threw on Benrahma, Ogbonna, and Mubama when were being heavily beaten. WHY? Nome are game changers and it was too late to make a difference anyway.

At least allowed us to witness Benrahma showing his great ability to have the ball taken off him at will regularly. Desperate stuff from Moyes.

It’s all down to him – he’s the manager and even as I was writing I received an FB message which declared: Hi Hugh, hope all safe and well?

I’m going to keep it short and sweet. I’m really looking forward to read your article confirming the Moyes has finally gone.

There’s only one response to that…SO AM I!

It is and has been for a very long time that the majority of these players have lost all respect for Moyes and are no longer playing for him. This is just the start of these drubbings and we have been lucky not to have got 3or4 of these already. The guy is a fraud.

Moyes exposed completely as a manager unable to integrate and motivate a squad. His chosen players are completely weary, no gas in the tank. Only two clear days since the last game, yet he made only two changes. No sign of bringing in Cornet, Kehrer, Mavropanos, Mubama or any young players. Rudely throwing on players when the game is gone – Young Mubama on at.4-0 down?. Stored team yet he made fewer subs than Fulham who were buzzing. Moyes is a manager who has been getting away with it. This has been coming
