West Ham win is against the odds

|

Nearly 66% of Claret and Hugh readers believe West Ham will suffer defeat today at the hands of Manchester City.

With  1,330 supporters voting in our poll an optimistic 20% believe the Hammers can pull off a miracle win leaving the remaining 14% predicting a draw on Wednesday evening.

Manchester City and West Ham have played 111 games between them since 1924 with the Hammers winning 37, drawing 17 and losing 57 games.

The last West Ham win came at the Etihad in September 2015 in a 2-1 win with Victor Moses and Diafra Sakho the goal scorers.

Manchester City are the 1/9 odds on favourites to win with the Bookies with the draw at 10/1 and a win at 22/1.

If you are brave enough to back a 1-0 West Ham away win  you can get odds as high as 90/1 with some bookmakers while a 2-0 West Ham win is priced at 200/1.

Scorelines above this you can name your own price but I wouldn’t waste your money.
