West Ham Working on Stealth Transfer Targets

West Ham are working on two deals behind the scenes for players whose names have not yet figured prominently in the public domain.

C&H have spoken to top sources at the football club twice today, and the messaging has remained the same: “We’re working on multiple transfer deals.” However, the club has been incredibly coy this afternoon regarding specific players’ names, stating that they wish to keep some targets identities secret.

One can only assume those players do not include the likes of Wan-Bissaka and Jhon Duran, who were regularly briefed about by a top West Ham source as talks continued.

Understandably, high-ranking Hammers sources are concerned about the names of transfer targets slipping out when delicate transfer negotiations hang in the balance. Some leaked information that emerged last week has made the club double down on their efforts to keep transfer information secret until there is no chance a rival can scupper any Irons deals.

Let us try to be generous and say W.H. have 3 transfers to date. then compare with the other teams. .there are no less than 13 more successful operators! Notably Aston Villa (8) BOURNEMOUTH (6) EVERTON (6) and NOTTS F.(6) FINALLY SOUTHAMPTON 12 yes 12.
before you apply the yes but test, you could drag W.H. back to 1 technically legitimate transfer . this will only lead to one serious conclusion that unless W.H. really get their finger out they can be in trouble in 24/ 25 season. and l believe it it is also time that this site stops fobbing off your loyal readers.

Sullivan is the problem, full stop.
But it not only he won’t pay the going rate, sometimes he so desperate he pays over the top like on Ings, price & salary, plus all the others we have now up for sale but NO ONE WANTS ANY OF THEM

  • Howard says:

So we bought a Brazillian that nobody has heard of. A third choice goalkeeper and get ripped off on a Wolves centre half. And now we are after a German striker that’s going to be 32 same age as Ings. You just couldn’t make it up. What really is the point of paying Steiten. Last week I watched Harrogate town against Sheffield utd. Sheffield signed Ohare from Coventry for nothing, what an amazing peer he is, absolute class. I asked him afterwards that I thought you was going to the hammers, his words were so did I but in the end they just blanked my agent and did not return any calls. We are a joke of a team.

I have two bum cheeks but theirs more s*comes out of this site than them.

    Finally keeping it under wraps

So instead of paying Aston Villa the asking price for a 20 year old striker that will get us 15 to 20 goals for the next 3 seasons before we sell him for at least double, we’re going to spend the rest of the window desperately trying to get a 31 year old to join us. He will have no interest because we don’t have European football. Then on deadline day Sky Sports will say we’ve bid 25 million for Ivan Toney and then say with 4 minutes left of the window that we’re going in with a higher bid. The club will say they tried and nobody was available and we’ll go with Antonio and Ings

  • My left foot says:

It’s no secret, one of them is Niklas Fullkrug. I’m hoping the other one is Jota Silva

  • Spindrift says:

Most activity will happen nearer the end of the window as clubs/players/agents find their options narrowing. It’s not ideal, but that’s the real world.

None of us know what’s in the works, or who to ‘blame’, and I think we’ll have a considerably stronger squad when the window shuts.

Apart from all of the above and all the other comments on this site and on other sites. One of the main denominators, admittedly not the only one is the fact the top players Will go elsewhere for European football. And that’s down to dithering Dave isn’t it. Only now is the reality of how poor his squad was coming to light although we all knew last Xmas. And **** poor management from Sully iin not sacking him. Just to save 6 months on his contract. Well it’s biting him on the arse now isn’t it. Serves him right. I dread to think what a 2 and 8 we’d be in if he was still in charge of transfers

  • Ellis says:

You cant laugh but cry for westham kown one wants to come to the club just wont pay the money

  • Ian says:

I’d actually prefer not to see so much rubbish posted about our transfer ‘targets’. Do the business quietly, professionally and quickly.

  • Kip says:

Brighton… Everton..spurs Fulham just in the last day have got there targets with no dramas whatsoever…on sky now …….just shows how bad we are at transfers…there is something deeply wrong with the way we work …..probably simply ridiculous low offers as usual..where other clubs don’t take the pisd so much and alienate clubs to us

  • JM says:

Alvarez signed 10th August last year or thereabouts…JWP 14th Mavropanos 22nd and Kudus 28th that month. Which suggests the majority of deals will be concluded toward the end of the transfer window.

  • Vernish says:

Good – Seems like everything we do gets leaked

  • Jh says:

In other words after weeks of work we wont pay that bit more for our top targets so we going to sign a 31 year old german striker as much cheaper

  • Kenneth Hasted says:

Sullivan needs to get the moths out of his wallet and say go get these players that we want ill pay the fee agreed

    • FrankieMacsBack says:

£29 million on an unknown teenager hardly suggests a reluctant to spend money or wallets aren’t opened when needed.

  • Padraig says:

David Moyes preference was to work with a small squad and experienced players who had played in the premiership.

However, the new management team clearly have a different approach. Whilst the current window is frustrating as fans to watch I think it will take more than one transfer window to address the imbalance that currently exists between the old and new managements team approach to squad balance.

However, I think it is also clear that once achieved it is also important that recruitment is consistent thereafter to ensure it is conducted from a position of strength. I thought zings would be a good purchase but clearly never suited to Moyes system, Antonio gives his all but is not getting any younger. Therefore selling teams are in a position of strength when it comes to negotiations. In the future recruitments needs to be undertaken when not over a barrel. I only mention those two players as an example, there are other positions with the same issues

  • My left foot says:

If they want to keep signings secret why would your ‘top source’ tell you so you can plaster it over the web. Makes no sense to me

  • Mavded says:

Oh really lol the club come out with so much rubbish and the fact that we have two secret deals waiting to complete coming to light after constant failures these past weeks makes you wonder…..why even mention such a thing as i am sure that many ITK’s will be scrambling to find out who they are and reveal an exclusive……We are so Del boy when it comes to these things but when you have Trigger and Marleeeene at the helm it is no surprise.

    • James says:

Or that the club is trying their best against completion from other clubs in the Champions League, and that maybe the majority of these signing attempts fail as they are actually made up by journalists trying to make false stories and these club insiders not actually existing?

      • Gray says:

Hard to attract top players to a mid table team with no European football.

        • Pongo says:

I can exclusively reveal that the two top secret hush hush targets are in fact the widow t****y and a 45yr old striker from non league football as that’s as much money sullivan is prepared to spend, rumour has it that shady Brady who ain’t no lady knows the non league striker very well indeed. Of course these are just the usual rumours doing the rounds, but i guess there more feasible than some of the names that have been falsely banded about on this site

    • FrankieMacsBack says:

People like you complain when names are leaked, but then complain when they aren’t revealed 🙄
