West Ham could be looking to hold talks with Yacine Brahimi over a possible free transfer to the London Stadium once the forward’s contract with FC Porto expires this summer. AC Milan, Lazio, Everton Wolves, Manchester United, Watford and Arsenal are also interested in making a move for the Algerian so the Hammers would face fierce competition.Manuel Pellegrini could have limited funds this summer this summer with just £25m on his disposal on top of any outbound sales of players, one way around his lack of spending power this summer would be to sign free agents, and that could mean the Irons step up their interest in Brahimi, who only has a few months left on his current deal at the Estádio do Dragão.
The Algerian international, who turns 29 on Friday is a gifted winger/attacking midfielder, has been on Porto’s books since 2014, when he made the move to the Portuguese giants from La Liga outfit Granada. Across 171 appearances in all competitions since his arrival in Portugal, Brahimi has racked up 45 goals, along with countless assists.
Last season proved particularly productive for the 29-year-old, with Brahimi having racked up 9 goals and 7 assists in the league alone, guiding Sérgio Conceição’s men to the title.

There’s that limited funds again,,I mean we spend money for the first time in years and now we can’t expect anymore…Will they not get any tv rights this year then or money for finishing in the top half ? C’mon if you want a big club mentality you have to improve on the squad most years ..limited funds.
I don’t think we will get Brahimi, we had an opportunity before when we agreed the transfer fee but he decided against it. We should go all in for Duvan Zapatta and Maxi Gomez, its out and out goal scorers we need not 1 goal in 4 merchants.
As for £25m plus funds raised… Carroll, Fernandes, Obiang, Masuaku, Hernandez and Arnie possibly, Perez.. of those only Arnie is worth anything substantial, we may get £10m for Hernandez…
