West Ham’s away kit revealed

|

By Sean Whetstone

West Ham this morning officially unveiled the Club’s new Away Kit for the forthcoming 2023/24 season, which is available to pre 0rder from the club site.

This year’s strip is a classic, elegant all-white outfit with subtle flashes of claret and blue. The Club crest, and the logo of sportswear partner Umbro, are both iridescent, enhancing the simple design of the new kit.

Our 2023/24 Away Kit launch explores the origin story of the West Ham Way style of play, and the legends it has created in our history.

A pioneering style of play designed in Cassettari’s Cafe on Barking Road near the old Boleyn Ground in the 1950s, the ideals of former manager Ted Fenton, along with influential, forward-thinking players such as Malcolm Allison, Noel Cantwell and John Bond, gave birth to the Academy of Football and created a playing style synonymous with the Club.

The launch – set in an art studio in Trinity Buoy Wharf near the site of the original Thames Ironworks – features international stars Lucas Paquetá, Nayef Aguerd and Emerson, UEFA Europa Conference League final and semi-final scorers Saïd Benrahma and Pablo Fornals, Academy graduates Ben Johnson and Divin Mubama, and women’s team players Halle Houssein and Mel Filis.
