West Ham’s “journeymen” signings dead in the water

|

By Hughie Southon

West Ham’s journeymen days are over!

For years we have been dredging around among such players but together David Sullivan David Moyes and Tim Steidten are moving this club to a totally different level.

Lucas Paqueta, Mo Kudus and Jarrod Bowen are not GOOD players…they are OUTSTANDING players as is James Ward-Prowse, having found a system of play which suits him to perfection.

There is little doubt that the new technical director Tim Stedten – who is now deploying the scouting team all over the UK and Europe – is having a huge impact at the club and himself may even be the best signing the club has made over several years.

And we have every right to be excited at the players we may see coming into the club over the next couple of windows with Claret and Hugh Facebook admin David Pope putting it like this: “Whomever we get, I hope and expect us to bring in players of the calibre of Jarrod,

Paqueta , JWP and Kudus…. we are moving up to a new level and must maintain our progress…no more ‘journeymen’.”
Spot on – those dreadful days look gone at long long last!
