West Ham’s signing of the season confirmed

AClaret and Hugh poll has revealed that Fabianski will be the runaway winner of the signing of the season award at theWest Ham Players awards at the InterContinental London at the O2 in just over two weeks time.

With over 1,200 readers voting to make it statistically accurate within 5% it shows almost 89% believe the former Swansea keeper has been our signing of the season for a mere £7m last summer.

Felipe Anderson was second on 4%,  Fabian Balbuena 3%, Issa Diop 2%, Jack Wilshere 1% with the remaining signing picking up less than one per cent each.

It means that the Polish international is almost guranteed to collect two awards after 79% of 1,600 readers said he is their Hammer of the Year beating Declan Rice to second place on 20% and others 1%.

Other awards handed out on the Gala evening will be Young Hammer of the Year, Goal of the Season, Players’ player of the season, the Dylan Tombides Academy award and the West Ham Women player of the season.

West Ham legend Ronnie Boyce will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award.
